KITV Island News - Spam Jam Festival returns to the streets of Waikiki

WAIKIKI, Hawaii (Island News) -- Taste and celebrate what makes spam a fan favorite in Hawaii when Waikiki Spam Jam Festival returns on Saturday, April 25.

Spam lovers can find all kinds of dishes along Kalakaua Avenue during the festival from 4 to 10 p.m. After filling your appetite for spam from all the food vendors, the festival also features retail booths, arts and crafts, keiki activities, a special appearance by the Spammy mascot and a drone show.

Hula performances will take over one stage which includes:

  • Halau Hula o Kekaikuihala

  • Hui o Napualaikauikaiu

  • HMPS dancers

  • Halau Hula O Hokulani

The menu at this year's Spam Jam offers various Spam-inspired items including:

Duke’s Waikiki serving its famous Candied Spam Hula Pie

  • Hula Grill’s Spam Pate Pork Belly Banh Mi sandwich

  • Shokudo Waikiki’s Spam and Tamago Temaki sushi

  • Maui Brewing Company’s 100-layer Spam Yakitori on Ginger-Scallion Fried Rice

  • Wagyu Sizzle’s Wagyu Beef and Spam skewer

  • Il Gelato offering gelato flavors with Spam-inspired toppings

The Waikiki Spam Jam Festival gives back to numerous organizations where a portion of the event proceeds are donated to the Hawaii Foodbank, Visitor Aloha Society Hawaii and the Waikiki Community Center. The Hawaii Food Bank will be at the festival accepting canned food and monetary donations.

For a sit-down experience with special spam dishes on Oahu, the Dine-In Spam Event will take place from April 18 through May 3, 2026. A list of participating locations is available at SPAMJAMHawaii.com.
