Hawaii News Now - Date announced for Waikiki Spam Jam Festival
HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) - One of Hawaii’s most iconic street festivals returns to Waikiki in spring.
The 2026 Waikiki Spam Jam Festival is set for Saturday, April 25.
Spam Jam is one of the longest-running street events in the state.
Attendees can expect to see Spam dishes from some of Waikiki’s top restaurants and celebrate all things Spam.
This year’s festival will feature live entertainment across three stages, with performances by local musicians and hula halau. There will also be retail booths, local arts and crafts, keiki-friendly activities, and appearances with Spammy and friends.
The free event runs from 4 to 10 p.m., between Seaside and Liliuokalani Avenues, with a drone show at 9 p.m., over Waikiki beach.
Limited-edition collectible shirts will be available for purchase. Live entertainment featuring a lineup of local musicians and hula halau will be announced soon.
In addition to the street festival, Spam dishes will be on the menu at participating restaurants one week before and one week after the event.
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to local charities, including the Hawaii Foodbank, Visitor Aloha Society of Hawaii, and the Waikiki Community Center.
The foodbank will also be onsite during the street festival, accepting canned food and monetary donations.
