This Saturday, April 27, from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., the streets of Waikiki will come alive with the vibrant celebration of the 20th Waikiki SPAM JAM. This beloved annual street festival is renowned for its dedication to Hawaii’s favorite canned meat, SPAM, and will feature a fun lineup of events, 30 local restaurants and various booths, and three stages offering live entertainment.

Admission to the festival is free and open to the public, welcoming all to explore the rich culinary delights that SPAM has inspired. Today, Kelly went to see what festival attendees can look forward to tasting at Kuhio Ave Food Hall’s booth. At the festival, they will be serving up SPAM nachos from La Pina Cantina! The International Marketplace’s food hall will also be having SPAM specials for two weeks long inside of their restaurant. The restaurant items include a Hawaiian burger with SPAM from Banzai Burger, Hawaiian Pizza with SPAM from Aloha Pizzeria, a gyro with SPAM from Greek Grotto, and even SPAM ramen!

Highlighting this year’s festivities, a drone show will illuminate the skies above Waikiki Beach at 8:15 p.m., celebrating two decades of SPAM appreciation in a truly modern fashion.
